Termites | Paper
Paper gives me a way to record and repeat the patterns termites leave behind. The work moves between the termite as an image, the marks it creates, and the insect itself as material.
A series of relief prints using sequenced termite-eaten wood from local residences as woodblocks, with select works incorporating handmade paper infused with termite bodies and wings.
